The Mother Tree Update Patch Notes
The new 20th Anniversary update is retitled Mother Tree due to the Merkios Altar event's availability starting later.
The Mother Tree Content Update for Lineage II: Classic will be released on April 16, 2024!

Events
With the Mother Tree Update on 4/16, we will be bringing many exciting events such as 100% EXP boost for characters below level 76, daily buff packages and free teleports. All players will also be able to meet Eva in the new Giran Town and receive special buffs from the Mother Tree!

Merkios' Altar
Merkios Altar will be added as an Event Special Hunting Zone during this update cycle. Although it will not be available on 4/16, we plan on using the dungeon during events in the near future.

The Merkios' Altar is an Event Solo dungeon available daily for characters level 70+.
The entry limit resets every day at 6:30 AM.
Monsters are set to spawn in waves.
After the final wave of monsters, the boss will spawn.
Players will have 5 minutes to defeat the boss.

The 'Talisman - Heaven Enchant Package' can be traded and grants an [Imprint] item when used.
You can enchant +8-9 Talisman - Heaven" safely by using Transcendent Enhancement Stones.
'Talisman - Heaven' can be Enchanted up to +10 with the 'Enchant Scroll: Accessories,' and the Stats for each Enchant level are as follows:

Aztacan's Earring
Added 'Scroll: Enchant Rare Accessory' and 'Greater Scroll: Enchant Rare Accessory,' which can be used to Enchant Aztacan's Earring.
- The 'Greater Scroll: Enchant Rare Accessory' is available at +2 or lower Enchant level.
- The 'Greater Scroll: Enchant Rare Accessory' has a fixed chance to grant a maximum of +3 Enchant levels on a successful Enchant.

Added a Name Deco management feature.
- You can set which Name Deco features you have in the Cosmetic menu in Options.
Changed the terrain representation scope setting in Options to persist after reconnection.
Adjusted the line spacing for dimensions displayed in item and skill tooltips.
Improved the resurrection menu that can be selected when a character dies.
- Removed the Resurrection path for Castles and Clan Hall that could result in XP loss upon Resurrection.
- Removed the ability to recover XP from residences due to the removal of the Resurrection paths for Clan Halls and Castles.
- Changed the Resurrection menu to show the percentage of XP restored.
- Changed the Warning popup to display when selecting a Resurrection menu that results in XP loss.
During Special Crafting period, Reset Time will be announced for products that aren't part of Permanent Crafting.
Fixed an issue where the position of the Clan Crest registration window was not reset.
Mission
Added the ability to level up missions by 30 levels at once by spending L2 Coins.
- This is available once per month per Account, and costs 1,000 L2 Coins.
- After receiving the final reward as before, you can earn additional rewards with Mission Level Up.

Doll System
Added a new 'Doll System'
Can be used through the 'Doll' option in the menu.
Use the 'Doll Summoning Ticket' item to acquire a Doll.
Doll Acquisition/Combination/Enchant/Collection information is stored on a per-Account basis.
If you have an existing Doll item and a Doll system with the same effect, only the higher effect will be applied.
Until the maintenance on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, you can exchange an Imprint Doll item for a Confirmed Doll Summoning Ticket of the same grade in Dimensional Merchant → Events → Doll Summoning Ticket.
After maintenance on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, Imprinted Dolls will be moved from your inventory to the Doll System.
The menu to change an exchangeable Doll to a Guaranteed Summoning Ticket will remain in Store until further notice.
Dolls are categorized into following tiers: Normal, High-Grade, Top-Grade, Rare, Hero, Legendary, and Mythic.
If you have Dolls of different grades with the same name, only the effect of the highest-grade Doll will be applied.

If you acquire additional Dolls that you already own, the remaining number will be shown, and they can be used as Enchant Ingredients.
You can Enchant a Doll by selecting the Doll you want to Enchant, and using 1-4 Dolls of the same grade as Enchant ingredient.
Mythic Dolls can be Enchanted to a maximum of +3 , at a cost of 200,000,000 Adena.
When Enchanting, the probability changes based on the ingredient quantity.

Compound Your Dolls to Earn the Next Highest Grade of Doll
If you acquire additional Dolls that you already own, the remaining number will be shown, and they can be used as Combination Materials.
When you collect 4 Dolls of the same grade and successfully Combine them, you have a chance to win a Doll of the next higher grade or a Doll of the same grade.

The first time you acquire a Doll, it will automatically register the Doll under 'Doll Collection,' and when you collect all the required Dolls, the Doll Collection effect will activate.
- Doll Collection information, status, and effects can be viewed in the 'Collection' tab.
- Some "Doll Collection" will have Enchant conditions.
Giran Castle Change
The Terrain of Giran Castle has been Changed
Changed the appearance of the square, the fountain, the location of the warehouse, and the interior of Einhasad Temple.
Added doors on either side of Einhasad Temple to allow access to the outside of the temple.
Removed the Warriors' Guild placement and added the lawn.
Modified the world map and radar map to reflect the changed terrain.

- The actual Skill Cast Time will not be increased with the changes in animation, these are visual changes only.
If a Skill's prerequisites include only "Magic Blunt Weapon," "Magic Two-Handed Blunt," or "Magic Sword" with no other equipment, the Skill tooltip will change from "One-Handed Blunt Weapon," "Two-Handed Blunt Weapon," or "One-Handed Sword" to "Magic Blunt Weapon," "Magic Two-Handed Blunt Weapon," or "Magic Sword".
If you only have a (One-Handed) Blunt Weapon/Two-Handed Blunt Weapon/One-Handed Sword with no other equipment in the Skill Use Condition, the Skill Tooltip will direct you to (One-Handed) Blunt Weapon/Two-Handed Blunt Weapon/One-Handed Sword as before.

When resetting the play report, the 'Total Play Time' is also reset.
Fixed an issue that caused intermittent abnormal damage in PvP situations.
