18th Anniversary Events

Welcome to the 18th Anniversary Events!

This year, we will be holding the 18th Anniversary events from April 20 until maintenance on May 18. Events include Appreciation Events, Black Coupon Events, an event Raid, Dancing Cats, Festival Events, and more! We’ll also be having a special GM event where you can meet up with members of the Game Team and receive a special buff!

When the celebration concludes on May 18, all event-related items and effects will be deleted during maintenance. Please see the lists available at the end of each section for a complete list of all items and effects this includes.

Lineage II

18th Anniversary Events

Starting on Wednesday, the Event UI will be added to the game screen and will be persistent through the event duration until May 18. Notably, this UI is not displayed when you are in the world server or in the collection screen.

All event and reward items will be deleted during the maintenance on Wednesday, May 18.

Amora's Gift Event

You can receive a variety of gifts from NPC Amora on the event platform in each town:

Daily Gift

Lineage II 18th Birthday Gift is given every day. When used, it gives 1 Master Yogi's Staff or +16 Master Yogi's Staff Box and 20x Master Yogi's Scroll: Enchant Weapon.
- You also have a chance to receive one or more of the 'letters L, O, V, E, R, S, P, C, and T.'
- Only characters with Lv. 105+ can receive the daily gift.

Buff Gift

You can receive the 'Congratulations! 18th birthday of Lineage II' buff.
- This buff is updated every hour and lasts up to 24 hours.
- When the buff is updated, one of the nine letters is sent to your character's inventory.
- If your character is dead or teleporting or its inventory is full when the buff is updated, no reward is given.
- Only characters with Lv. 105+ can receive the buff.

Agathion Gift

You can receive an '18th Anniversary Guardian Angel Juju Agathion Charm'.
- You can claim Juju Agathion only once per account.
- Agathion Charm Stats: XP Gain +10%, Max HP +10%, Vampiric Rage +10% and Unique Ability: P. Atk./M. Atk,/P. Def./M. Def. +10% 

Attendance Event

The Attendance Checklist event will run from April 20 until May 25 (note: this is one additional week!)

Each day, you can claim the login reward after you’ve been logged in for 30 minutes. Rewards are awarded consecutively, so if you miss a day it will be claimed instead on the next day you log in. To claim your rewards, click the available item in the Attendance Check window from any character and it will drop into your inventory. Daily reset is at 6:30 a.m. Server Time.

Dancing Cats Event

Wanna dance? Of course you do! By talking to the Dancing Cats in each town, you can receive the Dancing Cat's Steps buff depending on your party composition.

A party with 7 or more members or a party consisting of at least 3 different races

Frederick the Destroyer Raid Event

More rewards will be available to those who seek and defeat Frederick the Destroyer during the event period. See details below on how to take it down:

  • Frederick the Destroyer appears on the beach near Faeron Village every day at 14:00 and 23:00.
  • You can get to the raid location through NPC Amora in each town.
  • Frederick the Destroyer stays for 60 minutes. If you fail to defeat it within this time, it will disappear.
  • If your raid succeeds, NPC ‘Victory’ appears. Talk to Victory to receive 2x Orc's Special Medium Vitality Tonics and 8x 18th Anniversary Cakes. Victory NPC will despawn after 5 minutes.
  • Only characters who are Lv. 105+ can receive event rewards once per day.
  • 'Special Orc Chest' is rewarded to a character ranking first in Contribution.

Master Yogi’s Strange Staff Event allows you to enchant 'Master Yogi's Staff' to craft various reward items depending on its enchant level.

  • Obtain 'Master Yogi's Staff' from NPC Amora's daily gift or by purchasing with Adena.
  • The +16 Master Yogi's Staff Box will drop at a fixed rate by defeating monsters daily from 18:00 to 2:00 of the next day.
  • If the level with the monster is more than 6 levels different, an item drop penalty will occur.
  • The table below shows the Special Craft available at each of the enchant levels:

In it, you can use the Black Coupon to restore select items that failed to be enchanted from 10/01/2021 through 02/23/2022. Not all items can be restored, and if you restore items using Black Coupons, they will not be able to be traded.

You can acquire your Black Coupons on the L2 Coin shop for 18 Adena per coupon, but note that you are limited to purchasing a maximum of three per account.

Use them to:

  • Restore enchant-failed items as imprinted ones or to purchase a Stable Enchant Scroll.
  • Restore B-Grade or higher weapons and armor, Boss accessories, Spirit Agathions, Aden Talismans, Talisman - Speed, Eva's Talisman, Talisman of Power, Circlet of Hero, Cloak of Protection, Dragon's Belt, and Blessed Dragon's Belt.

Black Coupons, the 3 Special Enchant Scrolls, and A-Grade weapon conversion tickets will be deleted during item removal on May 18.

All Enchantment/Augments/Soul Crystals/Blessing status will be maintained during conversion, and if it is a tradable item, it will be converted into an Imprint (non-tradable) item.

 Lucky Box Event

During the event period, Lucky Boxes will appear on Fantasy Island at 11:30 and 21:30 server time daily. To visit the Fantasy Island, speak to Cute Snow NPC in each town.

Once the Lucky Boxes appear, players will be able to interact with them across 18 separate rounds. Each round, you’ll have a chance to obtain a lucky star. Accrue additional stars to get even better rewards.

However, if you fail to get a star when you open a Lucky Box, that will be the end of your run for that session. You’ll receive your corresponding reward from the table below, and no further Lucky Boxes will be willing to speak to you.

However, do not despair. When the Lucky Box returns at a later time, you can once again participate.

A maximum of 18 stars can be obtained, and if you arrive to the event late you can speak to multiple Lucky Boxes in accordance with how much of that session you’ve missed. Just don’t arrive too late or the Lucky Box might no longer be there!

Once the Lucky Box disappears, so too will the stars you acquired during that scheduled session. Return again next time to see if you can have even better luck!

Each day, you can claim the login reward after you’ve been logged in for 30 minutes. Rewards are awarded consecutively, so if you miss a day it will be claimed instead on the next day you log in.
