In Lineage II Classic's Baium Trial event, adventurers will brave the Tower of Insolence, battling monsters to collect stars. As starts are earned, players will ascend to higher floors, culminating in a showdown with the fearsome Baium. Prepare to conquer this epic challenge, claim glory, and etch your name in Aden's glory!

Entering the Trial

Every day, between 02:20 and 03:30 server time (UTC) in Talking Island, and 20:20 and 21:30 server time (UTC) in Giran, you can join the Baium’s Trial event by navigating to the Special Hunting UI to enter the Trial. You can only enter the trial once per day, characters must be Lv. 70+, and each entry will cost 1M Adena.

Once you enter, you will be transferred to the special Zone ‘Baium’s Trial’, which is a special instance of the Tower of Insolence. The event has no relation however, to the regular Tower of Insolence zone or the regular world boss Baium.

You can also get information from the Baium Trial by talking to the event NPC Aylein (Baium's Trial Guide) in towns.

Within the Trial

Within the trial, monsters will continue to spawn from 02:30 to 03:00 Server Time in Talking Island, and 20:30 to 21:00 Server Time in Giran, when all monsters will disappear except for Baium.

As you kill monsters on each floor, you can collect Stars. Every time you collect five stars, you will be automatically sent to the next floor. Each floor also has a specific drop rate for stars.

If at any point you die, you can immediately return to the floor you were on by talking to Cindy NPC on the first floor. If you enter when the event starts, you can have up to 70 minutes to proceed as far as you can. This time starts counting as soon as you enter the zone.

Rewards

At 03:00 Server Time (UTC) in Talking Island, and 21:00 (UTC) Server Time in Giran, once all monsters despawn, the NPC Cariya will spawn on each floor, and players can talk to her in order to receive their prizes accordingly.

The Tower of Insolence Treasure Chests will award you with one of the following items:

Please note that all Tower of Insolence Treasure Chests and any related time-limited items will be removed during the maintenance on June 29.

 

Special Crafting

Players may use the Tower of Insolence Treasure Chests as a material to craft the Baium Treasure Chest or the Shining Tower of Insolence Treasure Chest. The Special Crafting is located on the Event tab under Baium Trial.

 

Shining Tower of Insolence Treasure Chest

The Shining Tower of Insolence Treasure Chest is guaranteed to drop Sweet Grace Cookies (5ea.) and XP Boost Scroll (2ea). In addition to the guaranteed drops, the chest will also give one of the following items at random:

Defeat Baium

If you manage to reach the 14^th floor, Baium can be summoned by talking to the Baium's Statue. If you manage to inflict the last hit (the killing blow), you will receive 1 Baium Treasure Chest.

The Baium Treasure Chest will drop one of the following items:
