Adena Drop Rate Increase

The servers will receive a permanent 20% increase for Adena drops.

Added a new race, 'Jin Kamael'.

  • Only the Warrior class can select Jin Kamael.

  • Jin Kamael have high combat stats but low CON and MEN stats.

  • Jin Kamael Soldiers can learn only passive skills. They must complete the 1st class transfer to learn specialized class skills.

  • After the 1st class transfer, Jin Kamael can learn Shine/Shadow Mastery, which enables them to obtain Shine/Shadow Souls.

    • Jin Kamael can obtain Shine/Shadow Souls by fighting in battles, using skills, or gaining XP. When a Jin Kamael character gathers 100 Shine/Shadow Souls, it transforms into a Scythe.

    • While transformed into the Shine/Shadow Scythe, Souls cannot be obtained temporarily.
      The Shine/Shadow Scythe transformation grants the following effects:

Strikes the enemy with lightning and paralyzes them.

Shadow Bind

Grabs the enemy’s shadow and places them in Hold.

Voice Bind

Seals the enemy’s voice to make them unable to cast magic.

Detect Darkness

Disables all Hide statuses near you. Also, its target cannot receive any Hide buff for 2 seconds or remove this skill.

  • Set a window to pop up to guide SP and items needed to learn a skill.

    • If the character doesn’t have enough SP and items, a system message will be output on the popup window, not on the chat window.

  • We changed how to acquire the 'Expand Inventory' skill, which was acquired through fishing guild member NPC. It is now acquired in the ‘Learn Skill’ window of the character. 

    • You can also acquire 'Expand Trade' and 'Expand Storage' skills from fishing guild members.

  • Fixed an issue where 'Blood of Sacrifice', 'Counter Critical', and 'Great Fury' trigger skills are displayed on the buff slots.

  • Fixed an issue where Curse Death Link inflicts fixed damage.

  • Removed the Cancel Target effect from the following skills.

  • Certification skills have been deleted.

    • 'Magical Tablets’ of the same amount as the 'Crystals of Soul' a player spent to acquire the Certification skills will be sent to the character’s private warehouse.
      Deleted the certification skill link from NPC Lorenzo.

  • Deleted the description “Deals [* attribute] damage” from magic skill tooltips because it may be confused with the attribute system after the 3rd class transfer.
    Changed the casting speed of My Teleport Scroll from 3 seconds to 0 seconds.

  • Fixed an issue where the Ignore P. Def. effect is not applied normally to the following skills.

    • Lethal Shot, Flame Hawk, Arrow Rain, Ghost Piercing

  • The 'Seal of Scourge' is no longer applied to the raid boss.

  • Edited the 'Cancel’ and 'Steal Divinity' skill tooltips to guide that the skills apply ‘with a certain chance’.

  • Fixed an issue where AoE attack skills would not apply to target monsters.

  • Fixed an issue where even when the 'Broad Sweep' skill was used, the number of attack targets would not increase.

  • Fixed an issue where the 'Insane Crusher', 'Demolition Impact' skills registered in the shortcuts were displayed as active even when they didn’t meet the requirements.

  • Made it impossible to request the Couple Action to a character using the 'Fake Death' skill.

  • Fixed an issue where the ‘Rage' skill would be deactivated when certain weapons were equipped.

  • Added a limit on the number of targets for some AoE skills.

  • All weapons now use one type of Soulshot or Spiritshot regardless of their grades.

    • New Soulshots and Spiritshots can be bought at the grocery store in each town. They can also be exchanged with Soulshot Tickets through the Dimensional Merchant NPC.

  • With the Soulshot grade consolidation, Crafting Recipes can no longer be obtained through hunting or spoil. If a player already has these recipes, they can sell them to the Dimensional Merchant.

    • All recipes registered will be deleted and returned to the inventory or private warehouse. 

    • Soulshot and Spiritshot crafting recipes can no longer be registered nor crafted.

    • All recipes that are not sold until October 7th, 2019 will be deleted.  

  • The previous Soulshots and Spiritshots can no longer be used, but can be exchanged for new Soulshots and Spiritshots through the Dimensional Merchant.

    • All unexchanged Soulshots and Spiritshots (including Mysterious) will be deleted on Wednesday, October 7, 2019

  • Removed the class requirements of some dye items.

Combat Mode

  • Added a new default action, Combat Mode.

    • Whenever the Action icon is pressed or the command ‘/combatmode' is entered in the chat window, the Combat Mode toggles on or off, and the character’s name and color icon are added to the Status window.

  • While the Combat Mode is ON, attacks and skills are applied with ‘/forcedattack’ or ‘/forcedskill’ without pressing the [Ctrl] key.

    • While the Combat Mode is ON, party members, clan members, and command channel members (except chaotic or purple characters) are excluded from attack targets.

    • Combat Mode remains ON when entering a peace zone but works like it is OFF, allowing the player to talk to NPCs in the town.

Manner Mode

  • Added the Manner Mode function.

    • The ‘Manner Mode’ button will be added to the ‘Auto-use Next Target' UI.

    • While the Manner Mode is on, auto-hunting excludes those that are fighting other characters as targets.

    • When two characters aim at the same target, the first to attack keeps the target, while the other stops moving and sets another target.

    • If a target doesn’t receive any damage for a certain time during auto-hunting, the targeting right will be given to another character.

    • The Manner Mode settings are saved. When a character logs in, its last Manner Mode settings are applied.

  • Changed the auto-hunting settings. With Combat Mode ON, auto-hunting uses an attack skill and then makes normal attacks during the skill’s cooldown.

  • Moving forward, Giran Castle will be the only castle that has a siege, and the siege schedule has been adjusted. All castles will be reset on August 7.

Attack/Defense Registration Requirements

  • During the castle siege preparation time, you can register for attack/defense and proceed with mercenary recruitment and enrollment.

  • Once the castle siege preparation time starts, the Siege icon appears. Clicking the icon opens the Castle Siege Info window, where you can register for attack/defense and proceed with mercenary recruitment and enrollment.

  • The Castle Siege Info window also provides the Teleport menu that teleports you to the left, center, or right of Giran Castle for free during the castle siege.

  • Changed castle siege rules.

Unified Imprinting (Seal) Skill

'Imprint of Light’ and 'Imprint of Darkness' were integrated into 'Seal of Ruler’.

New Imprinting (Seal) Method

Use the 'Seal of Ruler’ skill on Giran Holy Artifact that appears after the Giran Relic in the sealing room is destroyed.
Re-sealing is unavailable for 2 minutes.

Tax Rate Settings

The castle owner can change the tax rate from 0% to 30% through the Chamberlain.

The character temporarily belongs to their mercenary clan.
The clan, ally, alliance, hero, whisper, and world chat functions are restricted.
※ If the character’s original clan registers for attack/defense, their mercenary application will be automatically canceled.

 
  • Mercenaries can select other characters and invite them to their parties.

  • Once the castle siege ends, the party to which mercenaries belong will be disbanded.

  • Mercenary characters that belong to other clans cannot be invited through the Match Party window.

  • Changed the settings of the Spectator mode.

    • Castle siege can be watched for free by using the Broadcasting Tower in the town.

  • Olympiad rewards 10 Maliss's HP Potions to the winner and 1 to the loser.

    • The participants can receive the 'Maliss's HP Potion’ reward after returning to their towns from the Olympiad Stadium. If they lose intentionally, they cannot receive any reward.

    • The mission ‘Participate in the Olympiad’ has been deleted.

  • If an Olympiad match ends in a draw, none of the participants will be rewarded with 'Maliss's HP Potion'.

Ranking System

  • Added a new ranking system and rewards.

    • The information can be viewed through the ranking system icon on the bottom right.

    • Character level rankings is added, and rankings are calculated based on levels by server and levels by race.

    • Character level rankings are calculated based on class level and class.

    • This ranking system applies only to characters that have reached at least Lv. 76 and completed the 3rd class transfer. If there are characters with the same level and XP, the first to level up successfully will be ranked higher.

    • Rankings are calculated in real time, but it takes time to update ranking data in the Ranking UI.

    • The ‘My Ranking’ field in the Server/Race Rankings shows 10 rankers below and above your character.

    • The ranking history of last 7 days can be viewed in details located at the top of the ranking UI.

    • Special buffs based on the ranking is applied every day at 6:30.  

    • Characters with Server Ranking Grades 1 to 3 are marked with a special symbol when they chat so that others know that they are high rankers.

    • An exclusive emblem applies to the top ranker of Server Rankings.

    • If the top ranker of Server Rankings is in a peace zone, all characters within a 1000 grid pay respect (social action: Bow) to it. The top ranker receives this greeting of respect 20 seconds after entering the peace zone, and receives the greeting again every 3 minutes afterwards.

    • When characters reach certain ranks by server or race, they can receive ranking reward effects.

Misc & UI

Revenge System

  • Introduced the 'Revenge System’ that helps seek revenge when killed by another character. 

    • When killed by another character in a normal field, the Revenge Notification icon that displays the attacker’s name will be added to the bottom right of the HUD.

    • Click the Revenge Notification icon or Revenge in the menu to bring up the Revenge UI.
      The Revenge UI saves and provides the following information for up to 24 hours upon death.

      • Your killer character’s level and name

      • Your killer character’s clan

      • Your killer character’s class

      • Your death time

      • Your killer character’s online/offline status

  • The Revenge UI records data in normal PvP and PK situations, including mutually declared clan wars. It doesn’t record data in the following cases:

    • When a monster (or boss) kills you

    • When you play official PvP contents (Siege Battlefield, Arena, and World Olympiad)

  • You can see the revenge target’s location saved in the Revenge UI and use the teleport function.

    • You can use the View Location and Teleport functions 5 times a day. These limits are reset every day at 6:30 AM.

    • The View Location function is free for the first time but costs Adena later on.

    • The Teleport function moves the revenger character in the Hide state for a short time in order to move them safely and give them an opportunity to attack first.

    • The Teleport function doesn’t support teleporting to special zones, such as peace zones, instanced dungeons, certain hunting grounds, Siege Battlefields, or castles.

PK Debuff Penalty

  • Added a system that applies a penalty according to karma.

    • If a character repeats PKs and their karma drops below zero, they will receive ‘Einhasad's Observation debuff.

    • To remove Einhasad's Observation, the character must increase their karma by either hunting monsters or dying.

Dislike System

  • Added a dislike system, an opposite concept of the like system.

    • You cannot use a Dislike Ticket on yourself. To use the ticket and change someone’s reputation, select a target and press ‘Dislike’ on the action window or enter the command ‘/dislike’.

    • 10 Dislike Tickets are given to each character by default. 1 Dislike Ticket is recharged every hour, and its count is reset every day at 6:30.

    • Up to 3 Dislike Tickets can be used on one character per day.

    • The character’s name turns to brown according to its reputation.

    • When a character is liked, its name changes to blue. If it is disliked in this state, its name changes to brown. 

    • The name of the character that uses the Dislike Ticket is not displayed.

  • Deleted the Water Reflection effect option from Preferences.
  • Deleted the Enable GPU option from Preferences.

    • The Enable GPU option is always on.

  • Adjusted the sizes of the weapons that female dwarves equip.

  • Fixed an issue where clicking a symbol on the Equipment window opened the Symbol Engraving UI in the Live Server.

  • Fixed an issue where the damage received UI incorrectly displayed the damage as normal damage when characters were killed by some skills.

  • Deleted the Hero Chat On/Off function from Menu → Preferences → Chat Channel.

    • Use the ‘Block’ function to hide messages of the Hero Chat.
      Fixed an issue where some gatekeepers continued to provide the old teleport service from before the Secret of the Empire update.

  • My Teleport can now be expanded up to 48 slots.

  • Added the time-limited hunting zone UI.

    • Clicking the time-limited hunting zone notification UI shows available time-limited hunting grounds.

  • Changed the basis for checking spare inventory slot limits of some NPCs to 90%.
    Opened the top floor of the Tower of Insolence so that players without ‘Blood-stained Cloth’ can face Baium.

  • Gathered various Traders and functional NPCs that help gameplay and placed them in the Town of Giran and Town of Aden Squares.

  • Added a function to the Send Mail window to move to the previous input window by entering “+”.

  • Fixed an issue where the full screen of the Radar Map would not be shown normally.

  • Fixed an issue where the character's attacks and skills would sporadically fail when a character was surrounded by many monsters.

  • Fixed an issue where some Teleport UIs listed teleport locations incorrectly.

  • Fixed an issue where macros within the shortcut activated by other items or skills would not stop when overwritten. 

  • Changed the display settings so that the Enchant Stone slot would not be displayed when a character enchants an accessory with the 'Scroll: Enchant Armor'.

  • Changed some fonts that were hard to read.

  • Made it possible to use Normal Teleport and My Teleport during a castle siege.

  • Increased the targeting speed of the Auto-use Next Target function so that it could aim at the next target more quickly.

  • Fixed an issue where a character couldn’t receive rewards if the inventory slot was full at the moment of class transfer.

    • If the character doesn’t have enough slots in the inventory, the class transfer itself will fail. The character can attempt the class transfer again after freeing up slots in the inventory.

  • All standard tabs of the Chat option, except NPC Talk, will be enabled when a character logs in for the first time.

  • Added Convenience NPCs.

    • Positioned Warehouse Keeper Randolf in the south of the Town of Giran Square.

    • Positioned Warehouse Manager Romp in the south of the Town of Aden Square.

  • Changed the scroll of escape coordinates of Town of Giran to be near the Convenience NPC.

  • Fixed an issue where the Radar Map didn’t work in ‘Necropolis of Devotion’ and 'Fields of Massacre’. 

  • Fixed an issue where the map of the hunting ground 'Antharas' Lair' was not displayed.

  • Fixed an issue where the item link on the chat window didn’t match the location of the question mark icon.

  • Changed the ‘Map’ as follows:

    • Made it possible to resize the map freely.

    • Added the My Teleport function to the map.

  • Improved the colors of clan, trade, and hero chat windows to be more vivid.

  • Added total game session time to the Player Report window.

  • Added a server time and local time UI display when you mouse-over the Mini-map zone indicator icon.
