Character Changes

  • Players can now obtain a Dual Class when they reach Lv. 105.

    • After reaching Lv. 105, talk to Dual Class Masters Joachim in the Town of Aden or Raina in Talking Island Village to add a Dual Class.

  • Lv. 105 or lower characters no longer drop a level when they die, but will still lose XP.

  • The Vitality system will remain AS IS with the update. Vitality will NOT affect the drop rate of items or Adena.

  • Vitality status of party members can be checked using the VP icon in the party window.

    • VP icon active: Has Vitality

    • VP icon inactive: Out of Vitality

  • Vitality will now slowly recover when you are in a peace zone.

  • The Tarti NPC has been removed from Aden and will remain in the Town of Gludio. 

  • Added a feature that allows exchanging Exalted weapons/armor obtained as Exalted quest rewards for other types.

    • Players can talk to Lionel Hunter in Heine to exchange their normal Exalted weapons, Heine, Enchanted Exalted weapons, and Exalted armor for other types.

  • Added number to the names of Exalted quests to show the order of the current quest.

  • Added monsters in the Abandoned Coal Mines special hunting ground as valid monsters for Exalted quests.

  • Players can now obtain a ‘Maintain Vitality Rune’ upon completion of ‘Way of Fate, Conquest’, ‘Winds of Fate: Choice’ quests.

    • The last quest for Awakening (Liberation), and the Maintain Vitality Rune can be used for 7 days.

  • If the mentor’s main class isn’t a Lv. 105+ awakened class, the mentor/mentee relationship will be canceled.

    • There is no penalty for the cancelation and players can use the mentoring system according to the changed rules after the update.

  • Newly created characters receive a Mentoring Guidebook.

  • Changed the mentor/mentee relationship requirements.

    • Mentor: Lv. 105+ for main class, awakened class

    • Mentee: Lv. 104 or lower for main class

    • Mentors with the right requirement can add a mentee from the Mentoring tab of the Network window (Alt+Y).

  • Due to the change in the requirements for mentoring relationship, relationships between mentors whose level is below 105 and their mentees are canceled automatically.

    • As there is no penalty for relationship cancelation, players can become mentees of other mentors after the update.

  • Mentees who graduated from the Mentoring system prior to the update 9 whose main class level is 104 or lower can become a mentee again after the update.

  • Changed the quantity of Mentee's Marks awarded to the mentor when the mentee levels up.

Hunting Zones
  • Added a new instanced zone ‘Castilla's Labyrinth’

    • Castilla's Labyrinth is a Lv. 100+ instanced zone that can only be completed once per day. Players can enter alone without being in a party.

    • Castilla's Labyrinth can be entered by talking to the newly placed Karina (Solo Instanced Zone Manager) in the Town of Aden Square.

    • Castilla's Labyrinth has 3 stages: Basic (recommended for Lv. 100+), Intermediate (recommended for Lv. 105+), and Advanced (recommended for Lv. 110+).

    • Players can select one of the 3 stages of the Castilla's Labyrinth and receive a reward if they defeat the boss in 15 minutes.

    • Castilla's Labyrinth becomes bound (can no longer enter) upon receiving the reward, and not only the selected stage but also the other 2 unselected stages become bound and cannot be used.

  • Dimensional Treasure Chests no longer spawn in hunting zones.

  • Added a special hunting zone 'Abandoned Coal Mines'.

  • Adjusted the balance and monster settings of the following hunting zones.

  • Some quests and quest items will be removed during the update.

    • Any progress made in the quest and associated quest items will be deleted. Please make sure to complete the quests before the update.

  • Removed quest-related dialog links displayed by NPCs that do not have linked quests.

  • Changed the character level at which the scrolls for low-importance quests are not shown from ‘below Lv. 100’ to ‘below Lv. 105’.

    • The scroll not being visible doesn’t affect the quest’s accessibility, and the character will be able to see the scroll again upon reaching Lv. 105.

  • The ‘Path of Salvation’ quest that was acquired automatically upon reaching Lv. 103 through ‘Message from Leona Blackbird’ is no longer acquired automatically.

    • This quest can be acquired by talking to NPC Verdure Elder Elikia in the Blackbird Campsite.

  • Attribute stone acquisition has been revamped.

    • Attribute stones, attribute crystals, and attribute jewels can be purchased from the Attribute Master NPC Yin in the Town of Aden and Yang in Town of Rune.

  • Attribute stones and attribute compression stones can no longer be acquired through defeating monsters, quest rewards, or gathering.

Crafting System

  • Improved the interface of the character creation window and changed so that you can check the specialization pedigree by race/class.

  • The XP bar has been changed so that you can check the current additional XP boost information.

    • Let you know the total amount of XP boost effects that are currently being applied and mouse-over to see the individual boost effects given by buffs and passive effects.

  • Calculation rule for the World Olympiad points has been changed.

    • Fixed an issue where sometimes the score was dropped when you win the Olympiad. 

Castle Siege

  • Fixed so that the spectator mode cannot be used while in a dead state.

  • Fixed the issue where non-recommended character’s name would appear brown to other users when the character joined the troop.

    • Player’s game screen keeps the brown name, and the name is displayed in white to other users’ game screen.
